As we previously reported, ‘Smackdown Live‘ Superstar Tamina Snuka had a successful surgery and through WWE.com, we have an update on how she is doing.

Tamina has torn her rotator cuff and her recent surgery was to repair this. Due to the nature of these injuries, then Superstar may likely be out of action for upwards of seven months.

The injury is reported to have come from an event prior to the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble, which was ultimately won by Asuka.

Tamina entered at #7 and lasted only two minutes before being eliminated by Lita. Her status for the match was in question prior to the event but with Alicia Fox already out, she was still found to be able to compete.

Through her Instagram account, Tamina shared some photos of her surgery and had a message for her fans and WWE.

One week post surgery and I’m feeling great. Thanks to Dr. Kaplan and his great team for fixing me up…AGAIN?. Big Thanks to @wwe and I apologize to all my fans and Thanks for the support. I’m anxious to get back!!!!! #TaminazRoadToRecovery #SoonerThenYouThink ?? #UnfinishedBusiness
