Video: Top Ten Greatest Summerslam Endings

Send them home happy/sad/something else. You can probably remember a little something about almost every pay per view you’ve ever seen. They’re designed to be big deals and for the most part, they pull that feat off. There’s something to each one, which could be a big match, a spot, a promo or something else. It can often be the endings, and that’s the case for the big shows too.

Sometimes you need to get out of the heat.

Greatest SummerSlam endings: WWE Top 10, Aug. 11, 2018

WWE has released a new video looking at the Top Ten Greatest Summerslam endings. The video is exactly what it sounds like, featuring a collection of clips from the show’s endings over the years. In a bit of a departure from the norm of these lists, most of the entries are from older shows, though there are several which are from newer shows to give it quite the balance.

Opinion: WWE is really going hard with the Summerslam push this year, which is a nice change of pace over the last few years. Summerslam doesn’t really have an identity of its own as it’s not the biggest show of the year, nor does it have the big namesake signature match. Go with the history of the card being such a well balanced presentation up and down, including the show’s endings.
