Not so fast my friend. Back in 2005, Chris Jericho brought the concept of Money In The Bank to WWE. The ladder match is now more than a once a year concept and that means we have a variety of both successful and failed attempts to cash in the briefcase for the instant World Title shot. These have come in different forms, which is what WWE is looking at today.
We’ll call it money on the table.
WWE has released a new video looking at the Top Ten Failed Money In The Bank Cash-In Attempts. The video is exactly what it sounds like with a look at people who tried to cash in their briefcases but couldn’t pull it off. Due to the lack of cash-ins that officially started, most of these are people who came down with the briefcase but got cut off due to one thing or another.
Opinion: I’m really not big on Money In The Bank in general and this isn’t exactly making me feel much better. At the end of the day, these things have been going on for several years now and they’re not the most thrilling in the world. There’s very little that hasn’t been done at this point and for some reason we have to do something like this every single year. Just come up with something fresh.
Which of these failed cash-ins is your favorite? When will Braun Strowman cash in? Let us know in the comments below.
