Welcome back. There are a lot of wrestlers on the WWE roster, which can be both a good thing and a bad thing at the same time. While fans are going to be able to see a lot of different wrestlers with different styles and skills, there are going to be some who are not able to make it onto television a good deal of the time. That has been the case for one star for a few months, but the situation changed this week.
Last year saw several different stories taking place in WWE but the longest running was the war between Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio. The feud brought in multiple different people to the story and it took several months to wrap up. The most important name added in was Murphy, who served as Rollins’ disciple. Things wound up going well for Murphy in the end, but then he disappeared for a long time. That changed this week.
Murphy made his return during this week’s SmackDown, marking his first appearance on the show since December. Rollins was speaking about Cesaro, when Murphy interrupted him and tried to reignite their alliance. Rollins rejected him and told Murphy to get out of his sight. Later in the show, Cesaro defeated Murphy in a match while Rollins was providing commentary.
It was quite the return. Check out how Murphy’s night went and what he did before:
Opinion: I’m glad to see Murphy back but I’m not sure I can see him having the brightest future in the world. It is clear that WWE does not think very much of him at the moment, as he had not been on television in about three months. Hopefully something goes better for him, because Murphy is far too talented of a wrestler to be stuck sitting on the sidelines for this long.
