He’s pretty good at this. Charisma is one of the most important things a wrestler can have. The ability to make the fans interested in what you are doing is the key to a successful career and charisma is how you get their attention. The more a wrestler has, odds are the bigger of a star they are going to be. AEW’s biggest star is full of charisma and now he will be using that elsewhere.

Chris Jericho is the biggest name that AEW has ever had, as he is one of the top stars in wrestling history. He has been around for the better part of thirty years and has been a major star for a good chunk of that time. While he might not be the star that he once was, Jericho is someone who is going to command attention anytime he is on screen and that will be the case again soon.

Jericho recently appeared on the Rasslin With Brandon F. Walker podcast and spoke about his time as a commentator in AEW. He took over the spot due to the roster being depleted due to various reasons and wound up loving it. Jericho mentioned that AEW was debuting another show soon and he would be part of the commentary team. There is no word on which show he means, but it may be the new Turner Media series, with details to be revealed.

Jericho has done well in AEW so far. Check out some of his better moments:

Opinion: This makes as much sense as anything else as all you have to do is advertise Jericho on commentary and there will be a bit of an audience. Fans are going to respond to bigger names and Jericho is the biggest name that Jericho has. Hopefully this works out for AEW, because running four weekly shows, even if some of them are online, is going to be quite the trick.
