Take it off? While he may be a strong candidate for becoming Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, there’s a lot of stuff in Kane’s past. If you ignore growing up locked in a basement, his brother setting his parents on fire, burying his brother alive (twice), setting people on fire, abducting various coworkers, electrocuting someone, trapping his father in a meat locker, tombstoning a priest and torturing Pete Rose, Kane is a pretty normal guy. Except for that mask, which has come and gone over the years.
The fire still burns.
Opinion: Kane is one of the more interesting people in WWE history and has been around over twenty years now and has had some of the strangest moments ever in wrestling. The mask is one of those things that has been around for a long time and can change what Kane is doing at the time. Getting rid of it was going to be a big deal, and even taking it off without getting to see his face would be a boost for someone’s career, albeit maybe a short one.
Do you prefer Kane with or without his mask? Should Kane have one more WWE run? Let us know in the comments below.
