It’s no secret that Big Van Vader wanted to be inducted into WWE’s Hall of Fame before his death. With his growing number of health issues, everyone knew that his time was limited. The WWE Universe was advocating for it to happen, but the timing just was not right for him and it’s a tragedy that Vader didn’t receive the honor during his lifetime.

A lot of people might complain it was due to his death, but his career will be immortalized all the same. His contributions to the business will be remembered by his peers and the fans. What could be worse is the company ignoring Big Van Vader longer like they have done with quite a few WWE legends. One of the obvious names would be Chyna, but that’s a much different situation. In Vader’s case, he was a WCW World Heavyweight Champion and an IWGP Heavyweight Champion during his career and accomplished much more.
