It comes with the territory. John Cena is one of the biggest stars in the history of professional wrestling. Whether you like him or not, there is no denying that he is one of the most successful names of all time and someone who changed the way wrestling was presented. Now he has moved away from wrestling for the most part though, and with his new mainstream celebrity status comes some unwanted attention.
British YouTube personality Mo Deen has posted a pair of videos to his YouTube page showing him interviewing John Cena. However, these interviews are in the form of Deen coming up to Cena and asking him questions with a camera on Cena, who did not seem pleased. Cena asks Deen to stop filming and show some respect, though Deen does not stop filming. Cena is in England to film Fast and Furious 9.
Deen posted both videos. Check out the interactions with Cena:
Opinion: I can’t blame him for getting annoyed at this. These videos have nothing to do with journalism and are all about seeing a celebrity and trying to get some attention for yourself. Cena was right to shut things down and it is rather impressive that he didn’t get angrier than he did. This was ridiculous and was little more than an invasion of his privacy for the sake of getting some YouTube hits.
Do you think Cena will return to wrestling? How big of a movie star can he become? Let us know in the comments below.
