Of wrestling and football. John Cena has been around long enough in wrestling that you can probably recite his entrance without putting much effort into it. You also know that he’s from Boston, the home of the New England Patriots. That makes what happened tonight after “Monday Night Raw” went off the air all the odder to see.

After tonight’s episode of “Monday Night Raw”, John Cena stayed in the ring after his victory over Finn Balor. With the cameras off, Cena sang the song “Fly Eagles Fly”, the fight song of the Philadelphia Eagles. This Sunday, the Eagles will play Cena’s team, the New England Patriots, in the Super Bowl.

Here’s a video of the post show segment:

Opinion: I love things like this. It makes for a special moment where you’re only going to see them after the cameras go off. Cena is a Patriots fan so it was probably a very fun treat for the fans in attendance. Let the fans have something fun to send them home happy, especially after a strong show like tonight’s.
