Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey was interviewed by ESPN about finally making it to WWE and what is next for her.

As we previously reported, Rousey made her shocking debut in front of the Philadelphia crowd after the conclusion of the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match, won by former NXT Women’s Champion Asuka.

Talking to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, Rousey explained her initial thoughts on making it to WWE and what she told Triple H.

“This is my life now. First priority on my timeline for the next several years. This is not a smash-and-grab; this is not a publicity stunt. When I first met with Triple H, I told him, ‘There are other things I can do with my time that’ll make way more money, but I won’t enjoy nearly as much.'”

Rousey continued explaining what this experience means for her.

“I don’t have words at all. I’m like — this is the most overstimulated I’ve ever been in my life and … I’m just like I’m still processing it. I’m so happy and I don’t have words for it — and I usually have words for everything; This never happened before.”

Rousey looks back to her past, joking about kicking her own ass if she didn’t take a WWE deal.

“It’s funny — it’s kind of like acting, in that it was something I always wanted to do but I never thought was in the cards for me. And now that I realize I really do have this opportunity, I feel like my 6-year-old self would totally kick my ass if I didn’t take it.”

At the pay-per-view, Rousey hinted at a ‘WrestleMania 34’ match and we believe this will either be against Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship or potentially against Asuka- though this would only happen if Asuka cashed in her opportunity early at the Elimination Chamber PPV and defeated Bliss for the Raw Women’s Championship.
