Official “Smackdown Live” Preview – January 30, 2018

It’s a new time yes it is. We’re past a significant milestone in WWE and that means it’s time to get on the Road to Wrestlemania. “Smackdown Live” now has a Royal Rumble winner and a World Title match set for the biggest show of the year but there are a few other things to deal with first.

WWE has released its official preview for this week’s “Smackdown Live”, which will be the first show after “Royal Rumble 2018”. Shinsuke Nakamura has won the Royal Rumble and will be facing AJ Styles at “Wrestlemania XXXIV”, but Styles still has to deal with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, who seemed to be screwed out of their title shot on Sunday. Opinion: We’re into a new period in WWE at the moment with the Royal Rumble out of the way but now WWE is in a bit of a weird spot. We have the Smackdown World Title match set for “Wrestlemania XXXIV” but there are over two months before we get there, along with the “Fastlane 2018” pay per view in March. WWE needs to get something entertaining in those months as they have momentum right now and need to keep it going.
