(VIDEO): Home. CM Punk Makes His Long Awaited Return (And It’s Better Than Going Back To WWE).

This tops them all. There have been a lot of wrestling stories breaking in the past few weeks. It might be a new show debuting, it might be a star returning to the ring, it might be a star leaving the ring, it might be good or it might be bad, but nothing is going to top this. For years and years we have been waiting to see it make its return and after long last, that time is finally upon us. This is the moment that we have been waiting for and now we get to experience it again.

Monday saw the return of CM Punk’s Grammar Slam, a series of videos where Punk explains grammar concepts through the form of promos against viewers who send in mail with grammatical errors. The series debuted six years ago with a series of five videos, filmed while Punk was still working for WWE. The new video serves as a way to promote Punk’s upcoming horror film The Girl On The Third Floor, with Punk suggesting that more episodes could be on the way in the near future.

Opinion: Works for me. These short videos are hardly the first of their kind but they are the kind of things that offer a little humor while promoting something. I could certainly go for some more of these things as they are rather entertaining on their own with Punk’s natural charisma shining through. Punk knows how to talk about anything and it could be interesting to see if that includes pro wrestling again in the near future. It would certainly be a way to promote the movie no?
