Nice to see you again! As we approach the end of the decade, there are a few stories that stand out above all of the others. Near the top of the list has to be the rise and fall of Daniel Bryan, who became the biggest star in the company, only to have it all fall away due to a host of injuries. Bryan is back now though, and he has even changed things up one more time.

Having returned to the ring last year at WrestleMania 34, Bryan has gone on a whirlwind return, becoming WWE Champion again last November in a big time heel turn that saw him become a rather self righteous environmentalist. However, Bryan is just too solid of a performer to keep him as a heel and the fans have embraced him again. Now he needs some help to fight off the evils of the Fiend Bray Wyatt, and he is changing with the times.

Earlier this month on SmackDown, Bryan agreed to face the Fiend again at Tables, Ladders And Chairs. Immediately thereafter though, the Fiend appeared and pulled Bryan underneath the ring. He then pulled out several clumps of hair, presumably from Bryan’s head and bears. Bryan disappeared for a short time, but returned at Tables, Ladders And Chairs, now with a shorter haircut and a trimmed bears, to attack Wyatt, presumably setting up a rematch with Wyatt down the road.

Bryan is back. Check out his attack on Wyatt and a good look at his new face:

Opinion: This could be an interesting way to go as there are only so many things you can do with the old Bryan against this Wyatt. Bryan has already been defeated by the Fiend on the big stage, so it wouldn’t make a ton of sense to have him face off with the Fiend again. Throwing the new version out there is a fresh take on things and hopefully it gives us some awesome moments.
