It’s an interesting mixture. Whether you like him or not, King Corbin is someone who is going to be around the top levels of the WWE for a long time to come. The company is certainly a fan of the guy and loves to put him on in whatever place they can find. This can become quite frustrating to some fans, but Corbin is getting a bigger reaction than most of the roster. Now, he might be in for a little boost.

One of the more popular criticisms against Corbin is that he isn’t the best talker. Part of the problem is what he is being told to say though, with a lot of his recent comments being jokes about Roman Reigns being nicknamed the Big Dog. That isn’t something that is going to work from the best talkers in the company, but now Corbin may have someone to do the talking for him.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, there are plans to have Drake Maverick become Corbin’s manager. Maverick managed Corbin at a live event on Thursday night with the move coming to television soon. Maverick has served as a manager before, working with the AOP last year. Recently, Maverick has been flirting with Dana Brooke and been insulted by Elias.

Here’s what happens when Maverick manages. Check out the AOP crushing people:

Opinion: I’m not sure on this one but I’m also not sure on it. Maverick is someone who can talk very well, but Corbin is fine enough doing whatever he needs to on the mic. Odds are this turns into Maverick wearing some kind of a goofy costume to play into the whole King story, which does not sound like the most thrilling thing in the world. Maybe it can work, though it could go either way.
