You can’t stop him. We are in uncharted territory here with both wrestling and everything else at the moment. As a contact sport, wrestling is the kind of thing that you probably don’t want to see happening as the wrestlers are going to be in contract with each other by definition. That doesn’t work well, but WWE is pushing forward with something outside of the ring anyway.

Over the better part of the last year, WWE has had some fun with the 24/7 Title. The title is basically a resurrection of the Hardcore Title, minus the hardcore aspects. That makes for some amusing moments, but at the same time, you have to be creative to keep things from getting stale. However, there are a few ways to keep the pace up and WWE now has something fresh in these strange days.

WWE has posted a new video to their YouTube page showing R-Truth defeating Riddick Moss to become the 24/7 Champion. Moss was going on a run through his neighborhood when a referee pulled up in a car. After Moss ordered the referee to get out of the car, R-Truth popped out of the trunk and rolled Moss up to win the title. The win makes R-Truth a 35 time champion and ends Moss’ reign at 41 days, marking the longest individual reign in history.

That’s how you do a surprise. Check out the title change:

Opinion: This is something that is quick and easy and gives the fans something to see. That being said, it’s also something that has been done so many times now that it’s hard to care about it all that much. At least R-Truth is someone entertaining with the title, though it does make the effort they put into Moss a bit of a waste. However, you can’t really be complaining that much given the amount of content available.
