Guess who’s back. There are very few wrestlers who have done the kind of things that Bray Wyatt have been able to pull off in recent months. Wyatt has gone from someone who clearly needed a hard refresh and that is exactly what he did. Using the power of the Firefly Fun House and his split personality in the for of the Fiend, Wyatt became one of the most interesting characters in WWE. Then everything changed at Hell In A Cell, and it has been downhill since. However, there might be a bit of a hope spot.

Last week on Monday Night Raw, Universal Champion Seth Rollins came to the Fun House and lived up to his catchphrase by literally burning it to the ground. This came before Rollins is scheduled to defend the title against Wyatt again next week at Crown Jewel. The destruction of the Firefly Fun House made its future unclear. However, the segment was announced as returning less than two weeks later, with a new episode coming on this week’s SmackDown.

The Firefly Fun House was back on this week’s SmackDown and featured a funeral for Ramblin Rabbit, who was burned to death in the fire. However, Wyatt opened the box serving as Rabbit’s coffin to reveal his burned body, which he then put his hand on. Rabbit then returned to life and had his body restored, presumably through Wyatt’s powers. As soon as Rabbit was back though, he was immediately killed again when Mercy the Buzzard bit his head off. It has been a recurring trope on Firefly Fun House that Rabbit continues to come back to life through unknown means.

Welcome back and see you again. Check out this week’s rather different episode (the little details are more than worth it):

Opinion: This was a weird situation as there was little reason to burn the whole place down other than to live up to Rollins’ catchphrase. I’m glad that they are back though as the segments can give Wyatt, and the Fiend in particular, a voice that they would not have otherwise. Wyatt has not been in the arena as himself in over a year now and the Fiend is an absolute special attraction. I’m not sure what is going to happen at Crown Jewel, but at this point I’m almost afraid of how bad it is going to be.
