It’s that time of year. Wrestling isn’t exactly a show with a lot of statistics. Aside from the Undertaker’s Streak and the amount of titles someone has won, you don’t often hear about a lot of statistics in wrestling. There’s one night where that’s not the case though and that’s at the Royal Rumble. As luck would have it, WWE knows how to cover that aspect as well as anyone else.

WWE has released its annual Royal Rumble By The Numbers video, which breaks down the entire match with a long string of stats, including breaking down numbers like eliminations, time in the match, appearances in the Rumble and several other topics. There are a lot of them repeated from last year but some numbers are updated. Here’s the video:

The Royal Rumble Match by the numbers

Opinion: This is one of my favorite things of the year and I look forward to it every time. The Royal Rumble is one of those things that is so unique (ignore the fact that there’s a second edition on the same night) so having a unique video like this helps quite a bit. It’s just something fun that tells you a lot of different things about a cool match.
