It could be worse. There are all kinds of injuries that can take place at any given time and they all raise a lot of questions. One of the biggest of them all is how long the person will be out, which can range from virtually no time to the rest of their career. Most of them are in the middle though, and that seems to be the case with one of the more recent high profile injuries.
Last week, SmackDown’s Sasha Banks injured her knee during a match against Charlotte during a live event. The injury took place when Banks’ foot landed awkwardly when taking a backbreaker from Charlotte. WWE has released an update on the injury, announcing that Banks has suffered a bruised calcaneus bone. Nothing is broken, but Banks will be out of action for 6-8 weeks.
Banks is still one of the bigger stars in WWE. Check out what she has been up to lately:
Opinion: That could be a heck of a lot worse, as a bruised bone is not quite as bad as tearing a muscle or a ligament. If nothing else, needing rest and physical therapy is better than needing surgery so Banks will not be out as long as she could be otherwise. Unfortunately she will be out of the Royal Rumble, but at least she should be around for WrestleMania 38.
What do you think of Banks? What should she do when she gets back? Let us know in the comments below.
