Add it to the resume. There have been a lot of wrestlers throughout history and a good many of them have tried their hands at acting. This is about as hit or miss as you can get though most of the time, the result has been a miss. It is rare for a wrestler to become a hit in Hollywood, but there are always going to be some who try. That is the case with one of the bigger wrestlers in WWE history and he’s trying his luck again.

While his time on the top of the WWF was not the most successful, there is no denying that Kevin Nash, known as Diesel at the time, played a major role in the company’s history. Nash would later go on to become one of the founding fathers of the New World Order in WCW and a legend in his own right. He did more than wrestling though and now he is trying to do something else as a bonus.

Nash will be appearing in the upcoming film Chick Fight, playing a friend of the main character, played by Malin Akerman. The movie is about a woman, played by Akerman, who joins a fight club in order to turn her life around. It is scheduled to be released into theaters on November 13. Nash has dabbled in acting before, including roles in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, the Longest Yard and Magic Mike XXL.

Nash can do well on screen. Check out a trailer for the movie plus some of his time in the ring:

Opinion: Good for Nash, as it isn’t every former wrestler who can make something like this work. Nash has shown some great charisma when he is on screen in a role outside of the ring so maybe he can make parts like this work. It isn’t easy for someone close to seven feet tall to find a variety of roles, but Nash has managed to do this on and off for a long time. If it winds up going somewhere, that makes it all the better.
