Update on Paige’s WrestleMania 33 Status

One less star in the Wrestlemania sky. Paige has been out of action for over six months now with a neck injury and it doesn’t seem like she’s going to be back in the ring anytime soon. After undergoing neck surgery on October 19, it’s likely going to be a good while before she can return to action. This includes missing a pretty important show.

According to PWInsider by way of Wrestlinginc.com, Paige will be out of action for “Wrestlemania XXXIII” and it’s not clear when she’ll be back in the ring. Paige was recently in Tampa at “Monday Night Raw” to update WWE on her status. Aside from that, she hasn’t been involved with WWE for several months due to back to back Wellness Policy violations which led to her being suspended for ninety days total.

At this point, does anyone even notice that Paige is gone? After hitting the ground running back in 2014, Paige became almost any other female wrestler and that’s a shame. She has so much natural talent and charisma that it’s a shame she doesn’t seem to be able to handle working in WWE. I’m sure she’ll wind up on the indy scene for years to come but I really can’t imagine her being around WWE much longer.
