It’s all part of the plan. With less than three weeks before “Royal Rumble 2017”, the field is starting to fill up. Coming into today, eight of the thirty spots were taken up with seven competitors from “Monday Night Raw” and only one from “Smackdown Live”. As of this evening though, that number has increased to nine and the red show is now leading 9-1.

Via his Twitter account, Seth Rollins has officially announced his entry into the 2017 Royal Rumble. Rollins joins Goldberg, Brock Lesnar and Chris Jericho as former World Champions entered into the match. The winner will get a shot as his brand’s World Title at “Wrestlemania XXXIII” in Orlando, Florida on April 2.

Here is the updated list of names for the Royal Rumble:

Brock Lesnar
Big E.
Kofi Kingston
Xavier Woods
Chris Jericho
Braun Strowman
Baron Corbin
Seth Rollins

This is the kind of names that you need added to the match. Rollins probably isn’t a favorite to win the match but there’s a good chance he’ll be able to do something in the match that helps set him up for “Wrestlemania XXXIII”. Maybe that means Triple H interferes but either way it’s a good idea to fill in the match with bigger names like this. You can only have people like Mojo Rawley and the Usos take up so many spots before it’s a waste of time.
