There is room for two more. We are less than three weeks away from the Royal Rumble and that means WWE is going to have to put together two rather large pools of wrestlers for the show’s namesake matches. Both Royal Rumbles are going to need thirty matches each, which is no small task. Several of the wrestlers will be announced in advance and that was the case with two more this week.

The Raw women’s division has come a long way in recent months as things have been rebuilt following Becky Lynch taking maternity leave. That is not the easiest thing to do as the division was lacking in depth for several months. Things have gotten better recently though and now you can see the growth as we approach the Royal Rumble, with more names being ready for the show.

This week on Monday Night Raw, both Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose announced their entries into the women’s Royal Rumble match. The team then lost a match to Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax, the latter of whom is already entered into the match as well. Rose and Brooke mark the fifth and sixth entrants and have both competed in all three previous women’s Royal Rumbles.

Monday was a warm up. Check out the team’s tag match:

Opinion: I know neither of them are likely winners, but they are the kind of names that you need to include to help flesh out the field a bit. The women’s division has come a long way in the last few years but they still do not have the same kind of depth to have many options for a match like this. Both of them are getting better in the ring though and hopefully they keep doing so going forward.
