The Face That Runs the Chamber. Last night at “Royal Rumble 2017”, AJ Styles lost the Smackdown World Title to John Cena, giving Cena his record tying sixteenth World Title. While Cena winning is a big deal, Styles isn’t quite done yet and is already scheduled for his rematch for the title.

According to WWE.com, Styles will be taking part in the upcoming Elimination Chamber match for the Smackdown World Title along with Cena as the defending champion. The other four spots will be announced at some point in the thirteen days before the pay per view. Here is the announcement from WWE:

While Orton’s opportunity at The Showcase of the Immortals is secure, Cena’s is not, yet. The Champ first must retain the title on Sunday, Feb. 12, in a WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match announced weeks ago by SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon. As of now, the only other competitor confirmed for that six-Superstar battle is Styles. If Cena is successful at WWE Elimination Chamber, only then will his WrestleMania match against Orton be set in stone.

This is about what you had to expect as Styles is one of the top stars on “Smackdown Live” and deserves to stay in the title scene. It would make sense to have Cena lose the title in a hurry and possibly win it back at “Wrestlemania XXXIII” (though he could do it at any show really) so putting he and Styles in a big gimmick match with other people filling in the lineup makes sense.

Who do you think joins the two of them in the Chamber? Who leaves as champion? Let us know in the comments below.
