It’s no secret that ever since Triple H cost Seth Rollins the WWE Universal Championship last year, “The Architect” has been seeking revenge on his former mentor.

Last night at “NXT Takeover: San Antonio,” Rollins began his crusade to get his hands on “The Game” by taking over the show and demanding that the two settle their differences right then and there.

Triple H was not willing to listen to Rollins’ demands, and had security escort him from the building.

According to the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that this angle was indeed begun at “NXT Takeover” San Antonio” in order to set up a match between the two at WrestleMania 33.

“I was told the angle was supposed to be tonight [at Takeover] and not [at the Royal Rumble],” Meltzer said. “I suppose you can do another one, but I was told the key angle was supposed to be [at Takeover]. We’ll see if they do something or follow up on it.”

Editor’s Note:

I like that they did something last night on Triple H’s own creation; it makes it look like Rollins is truly entering “The Game’s” house. However, does this mean that “The Architect” is not going to be at the “Royal Rumble” at all? That doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.
