He’s switching things up. There are various ways to present all kinds of stars but at some point a change needs to be made. A wrestler might need something fresh, or at least a different way for the fans to look at them. This can lead to a drastic change, some of which can be rather simply done. Now we might be ready to see someone else make this kind of a change.

This week on NXT, Scrypts accepted a tag team match on Axiom’s behalf against the debuting Lucien Price and Bronco Nima. During the match, Scrypts turned on Axiom, causing the team to lose. After the match was over, Scrypts took to Twitter, saying that he was done being the nice guy and that it was time to go back to his roots. He also referenced his time as a sommelier ad the 24/7 Champion, saying he was done with all of those things.

Opinion: I’m not sure how much of a difference the change is going to make, but Scrypts has only done so well during his time in NXT. Maybe this is the change that he needs, but if nothing else, he could use some kind of a new direction. The whole Scrypts character was never really fleshed out and that becomes a problem when you are still trying to really establish yourself.
