WATCH: Another WWE Tag Team Splits Up Following Loss

They’re done. Tag teams are a very simple concept but can bring some incredible benefits if done right. Their matches have a tendency to be high energy and keep the show going at a high level, but it can also be interesting to see a partnership dissolve. If two people have been together for a long time, having them split up can be a big deal. Another such split has taken place.

This week on NXT, Dragon Lee and Nathan Frazer defeated Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza when Lee pinned Garza. Following the match, Carrillo shoves Garza down and blamed him for the loss before leaving the crowd. Garza followed after him but could not get him to stop, potentially signaling the end of the team. Carrillo and Garza recently returned to NXT and this was their first match back.

Opinion: I’d like to say that this is a surprise split but the more you think about it, the less surprising it might be. The team hadn’t been used in months so maybe WWE didn’t see all that much in the. I’m not sure why as they are a pair of talented high fliers and that is always going to work in wrestling. Maybe there is another reason, but for now, it looks like we might be seeing them both doing something else.
