Someone’s back. As you might remember, Drew Galloway was left out of the finals of the inaugural Grand Championship tournament after an injury kept him on the sidelines. Since TNA tapes so far in advance, he hasn’t been able to get back in the ring for about three months’ worth of “Impact Wrestling”, but that’s changed in the new year.

According to WrestleZone.com, Galloway returned to the ring at this weekend’s “Impact Wrestling” tapings and won the Grand Championship from Moose in the third round. Moose had been the second person to hold the title after defeating inaugural champion Aron Rex. Galloway had been scheduled to face Rex at “Bound For Glory 2016” before the injury took him out of action.

Maybe this is the big solution to fixing the title because what they’ve done so far hasn’t helped much. The round system is still unnecessary and this attempt to try something new hasn’t done much for me. Then again Rex being the first champion didn’t help much either so this might be a step in the right direction.

Are you glad Moose lost the title to Galloway? How have you liked the title so far? Let us know in the comments below.
