Here we go again. This past Sunday at “Battleground 2017”, AJ Styles lost his United States Title to Kevin Owens in a fairly surprising decision. This was the second title change in the month as Styles had already defeated Owens to take the title. Their feud wasn’t done though as they met one more time on “Smackdown Live”.

Kevin Owens vs. AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho — U.S. Title Match: SmackDown LIVE, July 25, 2017

In a triple threat match also involving the returning Chris Jericho, Styles defeated Owens and won the US Title for the second time. After the match, Owens challenged Styles to a one on one rematch next week. There is no word on how long Jericho will be staying around.

Opinion: There’s a good chance that the rematch will set up a gimmick match at “Summerslam 2017”. I don’t hate the idea but there’s a good chance that they’ll do something to mix things up. Jericho was a nice bonus though and that helps quite a bit. If nothing else the pop for his return was great.

Who do you think will wind up as champion? Where do you think the title will go after “Summerslam 2017”? Let us know in the comments below.
