Braun Strowman's monstrous WrestleMania 33 workout

According to a live event listing for New Zealand per PWInsider, some upcoming storylines for ‘Raw’ following ‘SummerSlam’ may have been revealed.

Before you continue reading, be aware that everything you see moving forward is subject to change and Vince McMahon has been said to have made decisions last minute in the past. Storylines can change. Beware of spoilers.

The live event in question takes place on 13 September at the Christchurch Horncastle Arena and the card is as follows:

Battle Royal – Winner faces The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship later that night.

Street Fight – Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman.

Intercontinental Championship – The Miz w/Maryse vs. Battle Royal winner.

Raw Tag Team Championship – Rhyno & Heath Slater vs. Cesaro & Sheamus.

Raw Women’s Championship Six Pack Challenge – Bayley vs. Sasha Banks vs. Mickie James vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax vs. Emma

Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt

Big Show vs. Big Cass

Cruiserweight Championship – Akira Tozawa vs. Neville

Also confirmed to appear are Samoa Joe, Jason Jordan, Dean Ambrose, Apollo Crews, Titus O’Neil, R-Truth, Enzo Amore, Goldust, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel and Elias Samson.

While everything can and should be taken with a grain of salt, there is a lot of interest in what stories these matches potentially allude to.

To begin with, The Miz remains as Intercontinental Champion, despite many believing he would drop to Jason Jordan at ‘SummerSlam’ as he is scheduled to appear on Miz TV next week in what will likely be the start of a feud.

Next, it appears Rhyno & Heath Slater are now the contenders for the Raw Tag Team Championship that Sheamus & Cesaro still seemingly possess. This would mean that they retain in the reported match against Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose at ‘SummerSlam.’

Some have speculated Ariya Daivari will join the hunt for the Cruiserweight Championship after his actions on ‘Raw‘ to both Neville and Akira Tozawa, but it appears that the latter two will continue their feud alone and Daivari would be a roadblock.

It is also worth noting that no titles are mentioned to specifically belong to a superstar aside from The Miz with the Intercontinental Championship. This brings into the question of who the Raw Tag Team Champions, Raw Women’s Champion and Cruiserweight Champions will be.

Editor’s Note:

From the way it has been formatted, I could see multiple directions, but I can’t be certain of any involving Champions specifically.
