Put it on the resume. There are a lot of ways to present a wrestler in WWE as there are several roles they can fill. What matters is finding the right fit for every wrestler and that can be rather difficult to do. Some wrestlers have strengths in certain areas and now one wrestler is going to be moved to another spot, where she happens to be rather skilled as well.
Over the last few weeks, WWE official Sonya Deville has been under an official investigation by WWE higher ups. This week saw the results released, which declared that Deville had abused her authority, causing her to be fired from her role. As a result, Deville will be wrestling full time, which included a loss to the returning Alexa Bliss. Deville had been in her authority position since January 2021.
Opinion: This is a move that has seemed to be coming for a few months now and it makes sense to shift Deville back into the ring full time. She can still do her talking and it isn’t like there is a need for Adam Pearce to have a counterpart. Hopefully this works out for everyone and it isn’t like Deville is terrible in the ring. Now just find something that works out for her and see how well this can go.
What do you think of the move? What is next for Deville? Let us know in the comments below.
