Triple shot. With less than three weeks to go before “Fastlane 2018”, the card is looking pretty bare. Coming into this week’s episode of “Smackdown Live”, there was only one match on the card with the fatal five way for the Smackdown World Title. Things were fixed up a little bit tonight.

This week on “Smackdown Live”, three title matches were announced for the pay per view. On the show, the New Day won a #1 contenders match over Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable, Ruby Riott challenged Charlotte to a title match and was accepted, and finally Commissioner Shane McMahon made US Champion Bobby Roode vs. Randy Orton.

Here’s New Day’s win:

The New Day vs. Gable & Benjamin - Winners face The Usos at Fastlane: SmackDown LIVE, Feb. 20, 2018

Riott’s challenge:

Charlotte Flair and Ruby Riott exchange words: SmackDown LIVE, Feb. 20, 2018

And McMahon’s announcement:

Bryan & McMahon argue over Bobby Roode's WWE Fastlane opponent: SmackDown LIVE, Feb. 20, 2018

Opinion: Well that’s more like it. These may not be the most thrilling matches in the world but at least they’re something to build towards. New Day vs. the Usos should be a blast, especially with the Bludgeon Brothers waiting in the wings. You don’t get this fast of a build most of the time but it works well here.
