Humiliate, then put through a table. The end of last night’s Monday Night Raw saw the Shield defeat the team of Baron Corbin and the AOP in the Shield’s first six man tag match in over a year. The Shield won the match (as you probably guessed) when Roman Reigns pinned Corbin off a spear. That was the last thing fans saw when the show went off the air, but there was something else for the live crowd.
According to Wrestlinginc.com, there was no post show dark match after last night’s Monday Night Raw. Instead, the Shield stayed in the ring and forced Corbin to sing I’m A Little Teapot before beating him up again. Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre ran back in and got beaten up again, leaving Corbin to have to sing the song again before being put through a table to end the night.
And of course there’s video.
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that makes for a fun ending to the show. Sometimes you need to have something entertaining instead of another big match, especially after Shield just had a big time main event match. This sounds like a lot of fun and I’d get a nice laugh out of seeing it actually happen. You don’t get that very often, even if this isn’t exactly high level comedy.
