They Want You To Want Them. WWE Stars Nominated For People’s Choice Awards.

Here are the nominees. If there’s one thing that WWE wants, it’s to be accepted by the mainstream. Wrestling has always been a niche product with a strong and dedicated audience, but the masses aren’t always the most thrilled with what they do. However, the gap has started to shrink and a new announcement seems to show that WWE might be becoming more family friendly.

According to the Daily Mail, Nikki Bella, John Cena and Nia Jax are official nominees for the 2018 People’s Choice Awards. Bella is nominated for both Reality TV Star for Total Bellas and Dancing With The Stars, Cena is nominated for Comedy Movie Star and Jax is nominated for the Game Changer Award. The People’s Choice Awards will take place on November 11.

Opinion: Good for them. I’m not sure how any of this could be bad for WWE as it’s all just a chance to get more people watching their shows and possibly a pretty big accolade. Cena is barely around on WWE anymore but you know he’s going to pop in every now and then. Bella is currently around and will be a big deal at next month’s Evolution. Finally Jax is someone who could be a major star in the division and a foil for the other top names. Good luck to all of them.
