Cameos! There are all kinds of stars on the WWE roster and many of them are regulars on national television. With Monday Night Raw, SmackDown and NXT, there is quite a bit of time to fill with some very talented stars. Sometimes wrestlers will show up on other shows, and that was the case this week as a group of stars made cameo appearances on another show.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Double Up: Two More Title Matches Confirmed For WWE Summerslam
This week’s SmackDown featured multiple cameos from NXT stars. NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes, Trick Williams, the Cavinder Twins, Wes Lee and Dragon Lee were shown in the crowd. Tony D, Stacks and the Creed Brothers appeared in a backstage segment and NXT executive Shawn Michaels appeared in another segment. The show took place in Orlando, Florida, the home of NXT. There is nothing to suggest that any of these stars are being called up at the moment.

It was a busy night. Check out one of the cameos, plus the champs in action on their home turf:
Opinion: This is the kind of special moment that you get to see every so often and it can be a lot of fun. At the same time, it offers something of a preview for what you might be seeing later on. The NXT stars of today are the main WWE stars of the future and eventually those roles are going to have to change. Hopefully WWE can make the transition go smoothly, and getting the feet wet here can help a bit.
What do you think of the cameos? Who should be called up from NXT next? Let us know in the comments below.
