WRESTLING RUMORS: Update On Plans For Monday Night Raw Star To Join Judgment Day

Maybe later? There are so many talented wrestlers in WWE that it can be difficult to find something for everyone to do. It makes sense to combine some of their talents into one idea and see what the combination can do, either in the form of a team or a stable. That has been the case with multiple WWE stars in recent years, but it might not be the case with a current one.

During the WWE Draft, JD McDonagh was drafted to Monday Night Raw. In the weeks following his arrival, rumors began circulating that he would be added to the Judgment Day stable. There was also a segment that saw McDonagh talking backstage with the team’s Finn Balor. However, according to WRKD Wrestling on Twitter, the plans for McDonagh to join the team have been “halted for the time being”. There is no word on why the plans have changed. McDonagh’s most recent Monday Night Raw match took place on May 29.

Opinion: This isn’t shocking as I had been wondering what had happened with these plans. McDonagh seemed primed to join the team and then just vanished with almost no explanation. Maybe WWE just felt Judgment Day was working without him or something, but it was quite the change of pace at the last minute. I’m sure WWE will find something for him to do, but it isn’t going to be this for the time being.
