They’re not in a hurry. Over the last year and a half, WWE has been in a partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a series of paid shows. WWE runs two shows a year in Saudi Arabia, usually one in April and one in November. That means we are coming up on the second show of this year and things are starting to take shape. However, there is one thing still to cover.
According to Fightful Select by way of Sportskeeda.com, several members of the roster currently do not know if they are scheduled to go to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel on October 31 or not. Only one match has been announced for the show thus far, with Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair forming a five man team each. At the moment, only two names have been confirmed for the match on each team. There is no word on when any other matches will be announced for the show.
It’s going to be a big one. Check out the setup of Team Hogan vs. Team Flair:
Opinion: Last week, WWE had a lot of issues setting up Hell In A Cell due to everything else going on and that seems to be the case here again. We are currently about three weeks away from the show and there is one match announced so far. They might want to pick up the pace a bit and while I’m sure something will be set up in the next few days, it could be done a little faster.
