They’re back. Stables have been a recurring concept in wrestling for a very long time now and the idea still makes sense. They see wrestlers put together into a group with similar themes or goals and they allow those people to get more television time than they usually would on their own. Occasionally you will see one of them come back and that is the case again, albeit in a different way.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Fast Turnaround: Injured WWE Superstar Set For Return Match

This week’s SmackDown featured a six man tag as the LWO was defeated by Legado del Fantasma. The match marked the return of the Legado stable, albeit with Angel and Humberto as new members along with leader Santos Escobar. The team had originally been comprised of Escobar and Cruz del Toro/Joaquin Wilde, who are now part of the LWO. There is no word on if more members will be added.

The team has done well over the years. Check out what they have done:

Opinion: Sure why not. Legado at least has a history and there is something to be said about bringing the team back, even with a different lineup. What matters is that Escobar has something to do and he can feud with Rey Mysterio and the LWO as soon as Mysterio is back from his injury. It’s a nice step forward and could go somewhere for the team, especially if they can keep up their momentum.
