It could be a bit. There are all kinds of injuries and medical situations that can keep someone out of the ring. Unfortunately a lot of those take a good deal of recovery time, especially if there is something that slows you down from being able to get better. That seems to be the case again, as an AEW star is going to be out of action even longer than expected.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Maybe? Legendary Tag Team Teases One More Run Together

Back in December, AEW’s Kenny Omega announced that he was suffering from diverticulitis and would be out of action for the time being. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Omega is advertised for the March 20 Dynamite in Toronto but there is no reason to believe that he will be appearing at the show. Omega has not been able to undergo surgery to deal with the issue due to inflammation and a decision on the surgery will be made in seven weeks. There is no word on when he will be able to return to the ring following his surgery.

Omega is a top star. Check out what he can do in AEW:

Opinion: This is one of those situations where there is very little that can be done other than wait. Omega is already dealing with a bunch of issues and hopefully he is able to get back in the ring sooner than later. What matters here is getting Omega back to full health, as there is only so much that can be done in his absence. Omega has already missed a bunch of time due to various medical issues and now it is happening again.

What do you think of Omega’s time in AEW? What do you want to see him do when he returns to the ring? Let us know in the comments below.
