So That’s What’s Going On. Here’s The Rather Unique Reason Why Bret Hart Wasn’t At Raw Reunion.

Sometimes it really is the simplest reason. Raw Reunion took place earlier this week and saw a host of wrestlers making appearances, many of them for the first time in a very long time. One of the most interesting parts of the show was figuring out who was and was not there, which makes for some surprising results. One major name was missing and now we know why.

Bret Hart did not appear on this week’s Raw Reunion despite being invited to the show. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Hart did not appear on the show because he is enjoying the summer in Calgary instead. He has no issue with WWE but just did not want to miss any time in Calgary. Hart is at the point where he can do whatever he wants and simply did not want to come to the show.

Opinion: Hart is one of the biggest names in the history of WWE and it makes a lot of sense to have him at a major reunion. At the same time though, if he just does not want to show up, there’s nothing wrong with that. Hart has always been a little bit different than most people in wrestling and if he doesn’t want to show up, good for him for enjoying his time in Calgary.
