That’s an interesting way to go. The Royal Rumble has come and gone and that means we are coming up on something called WrestleMania. There are going to be a lot of big matches on the show and some of those could be a lot more interesting than others. With so many things to get set up, it might be a good idea to get some of those matches made. One of them has officially been announced and now we might know another one to be made.
One of the biggest moments from the Royal Rumble was Charlotte winning the women’s Royal Rumble, guaranteeing her a women’s title shot at WrestleMania 36. However, she does not have the most interesting options at the moment. Charlotte has faced Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley several times each. She needs something new and now we might have an idea.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the current plan for WrestleMania 36 will see Charlotte challenge NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley instead of either main roster champion. This would be the first time that the Royal Rumble win has been used on an NXT Title. Charlotte is a former NXT Women’s Champion, having won the title in March 2014. There is no word on when the title match will be set up.
Charlotte has been busy lately. Check out what she has done since winning the Royal Rumble:
Opinion: That’s one way to go and they’re doing a nice job of making me care about what we might be getting this April. It’s the kind of match that makes your eyebrows go up and that’s more than I was able to say about a lot of what happened last year. There is a lot to get ready for WrestleMania but WWE is doing a good job to get things ready early on. Now if only they can fill out the rest of it as well.
