I can’t see this ending well for Blanchard. There are a lot of people involved in the wrestling industry and a good number of them are active on social media. That means you are going to hear a lot of them talking about a lot of things, many of which are stories about other wrestlers. That can make for some interesting takes on things, but it can also mean some bad results if something out of the past is brought up. That might be the case now and the timing is especially bad.

While AEW and WWE get all of the headlines, Impact Wrestling has gotten a lot better in recent months. The company has shaken off a lot of its major mistakes and offers a rather entertaining wrestling product. They are holding a pay per view this weekend with a pretty unique main event for a bigger promotion, but now something might be changing that in a bad way.

On Sunday at Hard To Kill, Tessa Blanchard will be challenging Sami Callihan for the Impact Wrestling World Title. On Saturday, Blanchard tweeted out a message talking about how women should support each other so good things can happen. This caused several wrestlers to take to Twitter to complain about things Blanchard had said to them in the past, including accusations of racial slurs and bullying. Blanchard has denied several of the responses on Twitter.

There have been several wrestlers with several responses so here are a few of them, with several more available in response to Blanchard’s original Tweet:

Blanchard is in for a big match on Sunday. Check out a look at the pay per view’s main event:

Opinion: This is a situation that does not sound good but the fallout could go several ways. Blanchard is about to have the biggest match of her life and I’m not sure how Impact Wrestling is going to react to the whole thing. There is a chance that Blanchard could be in serious trouble but there is also the chance that this will blow over and not wind up meaning a thing in the end. We should know a lot more tomorrow.

What do you think will happen? Will Blanchard win the title? Let us know in the comments below.
