Two more for the card. We’re getting closer and closer to this year’s Summerslam and that means it’s time to start filling in the rest of the show. We have some matches here and there but just one or two is nowhere near enough to get them through the rather long run time. That’s when you need to add a few matches, and that’s what was done this week on Monday Night Raw.
On this week’s show, three more matches were added to the Summerslam card. In addition to the previously announced Universal Title match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Title and Braun Strowman vs. Kevin Owens for the Money in the Bank briefcase were announced. Both of these matches are rematches from this month’s Extreme Rules pay per view.
Rollins is ready for his big night.
Opinion: I can’t say I’m excited about either of these matches but the good part is both of them could go either way. I could see all four of the participants winning, which could make things rather interesting in the case of Owens vs. Strowman. There is still plenty of time to set up Summerslam but it’s a very good idea to get a pair of matches out of the way in one night. Just do it a few more times and they’ll be fine.
