Happy Birthday Mr. WrestleMania. Sunday was Shawn Michaels’ fifty second birthday and you know WWE is going to remember everything that he’s done. One of Michaels’ biggest trademarks is the Sweet Chin Music and since he used it for about twenty years, including during retirement, there are quite a few to pick from for a long retrospective. Think of it as a birthday present to us all.
And it starts with a bang.
WWE has released a new video looking at Twelve Unexpected Times Shawn Michaels Hit Sweet Chin Music. The video contains a collection of matches and segments (some in-ring and some backstage) of Michaels hitting a surprise Sweet Chin Music. These have ranged over nearly twenty years with a mixture of serious and comedy moments. The list isn’t a countdown but rather a compilation of one superkick to the other.
Opinion : There’s something so cool about watching Michaels be able to pull that out of nowhere. It’s one of the best finishers ever because he won so many big matches with it and he could hit it on anyone at anytime. That’s the kind of thing that helps so much and he could keep doing it if he comes back even in a talking segment. This was a lot of fun and Michaels looked great with the superkick, as he always did.
