Round five. It’s very rare anymore in wrestling to see a big feud go to five major matches. Fans just don’t have the patience to sit through something like that but every once in a while, it just might happen. That’s the case with Shinsuke Nakamura vs. AJ Styles for the SmackDown World Title and it’s about to pick up even more. Last week, Nakamura defeated Styles in a non-title match, earning the right to pick the stipulation for their next title match at Money in the Bank. Tonight, we found out what Nakamura had in mind.

This week on SmackDown Live, Nakamura and Styles got in another brawl that left Styles laying after a chair shot and a Kinshasa knee strike to the head. With Styles down, Nakamura counted to ten and announced that he wanted the match to be a Last Man Standing match, which was confirmed later in the show. This is the fifth match between the two of them with Styles winning the first, two draws, and Nakamura winning the fourth to tie the series up again.

It was a big fight to set this up and their chemistry is growing. Check it out right here.

Nakamura reveals stipulation for the title match at Money in the Bank: SmackDown LIVE, May 22, 2018

Opinion: They’re running out of things to do here and this absolutely must be the place where Nakamura wins the title. They’ve stretched that out for months now and there’s no reason to keep it going any longer. If they don’t give him the title, there’s really no reason to have Nakamura out there in the main event with no chance to win the title. Give it to him now and let it be done for good, as it should have been already.
