Two more spots down. We’re getting close to Money in the Bank and now we’re down to the wire with the qualifiers. After several weeks though, we’re getting closer and closer to having the final lineups for both matches. Over the course of the last two days, we’ve seen three more names added to the match’s lineups. All three of those names were women, leaving very few names left to be filled in. So who made it this week?

During this week, Natalya, Lana and Naomi all qualified for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. On Monday Night Raw, Natalya defeated Dana Brooke, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan in a four way match. On SmackDown Live, Lana defeated Billie Kay and Naomi defeated Sonya Deville. This leaves one spot open in the women’s match, which will be determined by a gauntlet match next week on Monday Night Raw. The final two men’s spots will be determined when Samoa Joe faces Daniel Bryan next week on SmackDown Live and whenever New Day announces their pick for the spot they earned last week.

Opinion: You have to fill in some of those spots and it’s amazing how much better SmackDown Live is doing things by taking more of its time. It allows you to set matches up over time instead of doing the same “building momentum” matches for weeks on end. Next week will see a big qualifying match for the final men’s spot and that’s a lot more interesting than seeing the same people fighting week in and week out. The gauntlet match should help some too.
