It’s no secret that Sasha Banks has fallen down the ladder of the Women’s Division over the past year. A lot of fans want to know the reason why The Boss hasn’t been featured like she used to on WWE programming. As it turns out, there are several reasons why.

It’s been reported that Sasha’s attitude could be to blame, or she might just be taking a backseat for others to have the spotlight. Regardless of her current position with WWE, the former Raw Women’s Champion isn’t planning to leave the company any time soon.

According to WrestleVotes, The Boss signed a new contract with the company sometime last week. Traditionally, WWE offers three or five-year deals to their top superstars. The expectation is she’s signed on for at least three years with WWE. Sasha will continue to be a major player for “years to come.” She just won’t always be a part of the title hunt.

Despite her current position on WWE television, Banks remains one of the most popular superstars on the roster. Her merchandise continues to move with the fans. The rivalry with Bayley continues to build and it’s likely to come to ahead before Summerslam.

Unfortunately, one of the biggest problems in the Women’s Division is each brand only having one title. With Nia Jax defending the Raw Women’s Title against Ronda Rousey at Money in the Bank, it leaves most of the roster without something to chase on Raw.

The Boss has yet to qualify for the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Most fans wouldn’t expect her to win the briefcase, especially since she’s still building a feud with Bayley. However, she’s a four-time Women’s Champion and doesn’t need Money in the Bank to get back to the top. With a new deal and years ahead, Sasha’s time will come.
