Before her match at WrestleMania 34, the WWE Universe had a lot of questions about Ronda Rousey being able to perform inside the squared circle. Most people are curious how Rousey will perform in a singles matches after stealing the show in New Orleans.

The expectation was she’d wrestle Mickie James during WWE’s European tour, but she’s been booked for tag team matches instead. According to the Wrestling Observer Radio, the reason why WWE officials made those changes are due to Ronda’s in-ring ability.

Apparently, the powers that be don’t believe the former UFC Bantamweight Champion is ready for singles matches. A lot of people are going to question why Rousey is receiving a Raw Women’s Title Match with Nia Jax at the Money in the Bank PPV if she’s not ready for singles matches with Mickie James during the European tour.

With such a big match coming in only a few weeks on PPV, WWE officials may want to hold off on her first singles matchup until Money in the Bank. That would be something for the company to promote since the last time Ronda took on a single opponent, it was inside The Octagon. The key thing about Rousey is that she was on the European tour.

Last night on Raw, she vowed to take Nia’s title and arm:

Apparently, Ronda has been extremely humble and hard-working behind the scenes. It seems likely that she would agree with WWE officials that she wasn’t ready for a match on her own. She might not win the Raw Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank, but the event far is more interesting with her on it and it creates some huge questions heading into the event. We should expect to have new questions after the show as well.
