I’d call that a hint. Injuries can be devastating to a wrestler’s career as they can take away all kinds of ring time. There are some injuries that keep wrestlers out of action for an extended period of time, leaving fans wondering when they might be able to return. While it is not confirmed, one close source is giving us quite the hint that an injured star is on his way back to WWE.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMOR: Two New Wrestling Television Series To Be Announced Soon
Randy Orton has been out of action since May 2022 with a back injury. Orton has not been seen on WWE television since, though there have been occasional hints of him returning in recent months. This week, Rev Theory, the band that plays Orton’s theme song “Voices”, has posted an image to Twitter, saying “The time is near” and showing a graphic with the words “ORTON” and “VOICES”. There is no word on when when Orton will return, though WWE had reportedly been hoping that he would be back by Survivor Series in November.

Orton is a top star. Check out some of his time in WWE:
Opinion: It is becoming more and more likely that Orton is on his way back to WWE, but at the same time, it is almost hard to imagine him being back after this kind of absence. Orton is not likely to have much time left in the ring but it would be great to see him getting to have one last run. His career is certainly worthy of such a chance and now we might be getting that chance.
Will Orton be back in the ring by the end of the year? Who would you like to see him face? Let us know in the comments below.
