On Top: Rhea Ripley Picks Up Another Prestigious Wrestling Honor

She did it again. Women’s wrestling has come a very long way in recent years and women are atop the division throughout the industry. It is impressive to see just how far it has come over the years and now there are enough stars to have quite the collection of talent. Now one star is above the rest of them though, and she has certainly earned the honor she has received.

Pro Wrestling Illustrated has announced its annual Women’s 250 has been topped by reigning WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley. Ripley has never made the top ten before, let alone topped the list. This is the first year that the list has reached 250 entries, following two years at 150, three years at 100 and ten years at 50. Here is the top ten of the list, as per Fightful:

2. Giulia
3. Bianca Belair
4. Jamie Hayter
5. Tam Nakano
6. Athena
7. Deonna Purrazzo
8. Willow Nightingale
9. Kamille
10. Jordynne Grace

Opinion: It’s hard to argue against Ripley, who has had one of the best runs in the history of women’s wrestling in the last few months. She has become one of the biggest stars in WWE and it is amazing to see just how far she can keep going every single week. At the end of the day, she is reaching an all time level of star power in women’s wrestling and her being atop this list is no surprise.
