That’s not long. Injuries can be a terrible thing to see happen to a wrestler as you never know how long someone can be out of action. Some of them can be a lot worse than others as wrestlers can occasionally miss a very long time. Every so often you get to see someone make a major return though and now we are waiting to see if someone’s planned return comes true.

Randy Orton has been out of action with a back injury since May 2022. In recent months, he has reportedly been seen at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, suggesting that he is preparing for a return. According to Fightful Select, Orton and WWE are both hoping for him to return by Survivor Series. There is always the chance that this will not take place and WWE has not mentioned Orton in any significant way.

You might have forgotten Orton. Check out Orton’s time in WWE:

Opinion: Orton has been out of action for so long that I’m firmly in the “I’ll believe it when I see it” mode. He is approaching a year and a half away and will almost be out of action that long if he makes it back by Survivor Series. At the end of the day, Orton is 43 years old and probably doesn’t have much time left in the ring. It would be great to have him come back and see what he can do to wrap up his career. If nothing else, there are some fresh stars for him to face and it could be interesting to see what he does.

What do you think of Orton? What should he do at Survivor Series? Let us know in the comments below.
